Hi, I’m Laura!

I have been a BCBA for almost 10 years and in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for nearly 15 years. I love supporting children to the best of their potential and utilizing neurodivergent-affirming strategies and support across settings.

For more about me and my background, please click on the “About Me” section below.

Also, please read through my blog for articles and information about ABA and neurodivergence.

My approach

I have been a BCBA for almost 10 years and am a fairly recently diagnosed neurodivergent myself. During that time, I have focused on using communication and ensuring the adults in the environment are supporting that communication and connection through the child’s interests. Things like eye contact, requiring full sentences, suppressing stimming behaviors, or extinction likely are not the best approach to create and foster true connection and acceptance with your child. I want your child to be happy and relaxed, I want to understand what is important to them and help them get that. I will only suggest neurodivergent-affirming strategies and techniques for your child. I will be a strong advocate for your child but only if we are able to support them together.
