Years of experience in trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming play-based ABA across settings to help you and your child.

Hi, I’m Laura!

I have been a BCBA for almost 9 years and in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for nearly 15 years. I love supporting children to the best of their potential and advocating for neurodivergent-affirming strategies and support across settings.

My approach

I have been a BCBA for almost 9 years and am a fairly recently diagnosed neurodivergent myself. During that time, I have focused on using communication and ensuring the adults in the environment are supporting that communication and connection through the child’s interests. Things like eye contact, requiring full sentences, suppressing stimming behaviors, or extinction likely are not the best approach to create and foster true connection and acceptance with your child. I want your child to be happy and relaxed, I want to understand what is important to them and help them get that. I will only suggest neurodivergent-affirming strategies and techniques for your child. I will be a strong advocate for your child but only if we are able to support them together.
